The analysis of anal cytology positivity in women with pathological cervical cytology

Objective: Cervical cytology (CC) is a routine screening method used to reduce cervical cancer. Although anal cancer and have similar etiological factors the opinion about program unclear. We aimed determine features of women with abnormal (AC) who had screened via CC for neoplasia.
 
 Methods: Two hundred five females' results were investigated. The patients normal excluded, finally 87 participants included. demographics, medical, sexual, reproductive features, AC analyzed.
 Results: study group mean age 40.77 ± 9.50 years. was pathological in six (6.9%). Four these (66.7%) high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (HSIL) two (33.3%) low-grade (LSIL). all HSIL, them human papillomavirus (HPV) positive, most common type being 16 (83.3%). Conclusion: Women HSIL (especially concomitant HPV) may be riskier positivity. others are likely negative results. use early diagnosis risky (such as tool) considered this patients.
